I graduated from the University of California, Riverside with a B.S. in Physics, where I built a strong foundation in mathematics, problem-solving, and analytical thinking. During my undergraduate studies, I worked extensively as a tutor and teaching assistant, supporting students in courses such as Calculus, Physics, and Linear Algebra. I have worked with over 20 students in both one-on-one and group settings, helping each achieve meaningful academic improvement through structured guidance and personalized support.
I am currently pursuing a Master’s in Applied Mathematics at UC San Diego, where I continue to deepen my understanding of advanced mathematical concepts and their real-world applications. My academic and tutoring experiences have strengthened my ability to break down complex ideas into clear, approachable steps that students can confidently build upon.
I believe that effective teaching starts with understanding the individual student. Each learner has a unique way of thinking, and I tailor my approach to match their strengths while addressing areas of difficulty. I focus on building strong problem-solving habits, reinforcing conceptual understanding, and developing strategies that students can apply independently. My goal is not just to help students succeed in a single course, but to equip them with the skills and confidence to tackle future challenges.
In my free time, I enjoy working on programming projects, exploring data-driven applications, and staying active through fitness and outdoor activities.
