My teaching style is to keep the mood light and fun while also being as clear as possible. My goal is to teach the students how to approach problems in a way that is the most intuitive as possible for each particular student. In my career, I have successfully completed more than 90 programs. I have experience tutoring neuro-divergent students with a wide variety of learning differences including OCD, dyslexia, dyscalculia, and ADHD. I have experience working with students that love math and I have experience working with students that loathe math. I provide academic support from elementary level math to 2nd year calculus as well as ISEE, SSAT, and SAT test preparation. I also tutor in AP and grade-level Chemistry, Biology, and Physics as well as tutoring Reading, Writing, and Grammar at the elementary and middle school level.
I am a Bay Area native and currently live in San Francisco, CA. I graduated from UC Berkeley receiving a bachelor’s degree in Pure Mathematics and Molecular Biology with a minor in Art History. I now work as a research engineer at a biomedical research non-profit called Gladstone Institutes. There I work on robotic microscopes that we use to image and study neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzeheimers and ALS.
